I’m Charles Oduk. I live in the UK, where I build cool stuff for the web.

My love for web development started in 2015. I had an online store on Shopify where I was selling t-shirts. Sales weren't great and I was struggling to keep up with the monthly payments for my store. It was then that I decided I wanted to learn how to build my own e-commerce store.

Well, I never got to build that e-commerce store, but I did learn how to code. Building gave me so much joy, and I still remember how excited I was when I themed my first WordPress site. I made it into Andela, which at the time was a coding bootcamp, and that is where I got a proper grounding in web development and computer science.

Since then I've spent eight years building and running production systems: backend services, communications platforms, and more recently AI and LLM applications. Along the way I've had the pleasure of working with amazing engineers and tech leaders who have inspired, challenged, and helped me become the engineer I am today.

These days my energy goes into two things: helping teams design and ship agentic AI systems, and AccessTrail, a company I founded that builds onboarding tooling for nonprofit teams.
